I am a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council Postdoctoral Fellow in the Program in Literature at Duke University. My research examines how trans people imagine and access technologies of transition.

I received my PhD in Gender, Feminist and Women’s Studies from York University. In my dissertation, I think with affect theory, trans studies and Black studies to question the role of feeling in the state regulation and recognition of transness.
